I visited in July. I was impressed with the beach front it is not a very large holiday town but suited me. The weather of course was good with it being a little cooler on the west coast which suited me beautifully. I was there...More

A great sea view with a clean and bracing promenade. Largely traffic free, although parking is allowed, up to 4 hours. Hotel bars on the opposite side of the road - good selection.

With clear vistas to the horizon and a stunning view of Snowden, the bay displays a dramatic yet gentle curve of the azure blue Irish Sea. The beach is immaculate. Walk to the end of the promenade and follow the tradition of “kicking the bar”...More

As I have said last Sunday was the first day of our holiday, not a pleasant day for walking I might add. But I walked from Aberystwyth to Borth. Most enjoyable walk, although quite tired when I finished

A very disappointing trip. We travelled over an hour to visit Aberystwyth and were disappointed to find it so run down and tired. Considering it is a University Town we found it to be past its sell by date!

Fairly flat sea during visit, which seemed to attract sea swimmers (i was a little jealous of them!) close of lots of hotels and food options. Great sunset across to consti hill

Not a beach to build sand castles but still should not be discarded. Great for “slimming stones” with the children and an ideal place for a dog walk.
