Beautiful historic building in central Worcester. We very much enjoyed wandering around looking at things from the amazing roof and buttresses to the atmospheric crypt. There's no direct admission charge but we spent some money in the very nice café in the Cloisters. Highly recommended.
All you would expect in an historic cathedral but with more royal connections than I expected including the tomb of King John. Entrance is free but please make a donation towards the huge cost of upkeep.
An interesting historical visit with some significant memorials within the cathedral, for example King John.
Not always easy to get good photographs of the outside of the cathedral, as the one side is covered by trees and even in the winter they tend to obscure...More
