The guide was very knowledgable. I learned a lot. Wouldn't have missed it for the world- no visit to Worcester is complete without visiting the Cathedral.

Can explore on your own or join a tour. Need at least a couple of hours to cover all aspects. Be aware there is a photo policy which costs £3 to get permission to photograph throughout.

We went here to photograph the cricket ground from the spire. It’s a bit of a climb but well worth it. Didn’t realise King John was buried here. Nice shop and cafe.

A beautiful Cathedral, truly breath taking. Wish we'd paid to have the tour which was £5 per person as we would have learnt more.

We visited after 4pm and the stewarding staff appeared to be leaving for the day. Despite that and the place being readied for a function we had a pleasant stroll round and particularly admired the painted ceiling.

Officially no, but there is a "suggested" donation of about £7.00. I didn't officially donate but, as I took lots of photos, I was happy to pay £3.00 for a photography permit and, because I got so much from my visit, I made... More
