There is no charge to enter but a donation would be kind. As with all Cathedrals this is awe inspiring. You can climb the tower for a small charge to view the surrounding area. Certainly worth the effort.

If you visit one place in Worcester this is the best.the atmosphere inside the cathedral is warm and inviting not like a f e w other cathedrals that are cold and glumly.go there and experience that feeling of God is love.

One of Britain's most magnificent cathedrals in a wonderful setting above the River Severn. Contains exquisite stained glass, a breath-taking interior, the tombs of Prince Arthur and King John, and Edward Elgar was choirmaster here. King Charles II watched the Battle of Worcester from the top of the tower, before fleeing for his life. It's a building steeped in history.... More

After returning from our journey on the canal, we spent a day in Worcester and obviously wanted to visit the cathedral. The building is magnificent. There is a cost if you wish to go up to the tower, but the inside of the main cathedral is very interesting with a great deal of history on display...King John, Prince Arthur, Henry... More

A masterpiece of architecture. Look up as you enter to admire the amazing ceiling and make sure to look up again as you enter the quire as the ceiling changes but is equally magnificent. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and we had the privilege to have one of them who is obviously an expert on the Plantagenet's to answer our... More

We went up the Catherdral tower and it has great views ... 235 steps up a spiral staircase which is very narrow towards the top flight but worth it for the view

In some spare time and given it was Good Friday its seemed appropriate to visit this impressive cathedral. I learned a lot of history in a short time, & the Cathedral's interactive display about King John (who is interred here) is excellent.

Simply sensational. Went all the way up to the top of the Cathedral and could see the whole city and area around it. The Cathedral itself is full of history. Amazing.

Guides are always present and very helpful, they will talk you through the amazing history of this beautiful building. Amazing architecture and stained glass, King John's Tomb. A visit to the crypt and the cloisters are a must. You need time to take it all in. A charming coffee shop, well stocked gift shop and spotless toilets are also accessible... More
