A joint University-council venture, the library has an extensive and comprehensive range of books, IT resources as well as great levels of tidiness, study areas and quiet lobbies. It's a shame that one could not see the full vista of Worcester from the peak of...More

I paid a brief visit to the Hive . I was intrigued with what I saw from outside . A strange looking , sand castle shaped building , with a bridge/walkway and all set in its own landscaped grounds . I just had to have...More

What a brilliant resource to have bang in the city centre. From research facilities to libraries and exhibitions plus a pleasant café. Young children running around can be distracting though when trying to concentrate on research. Very helpful staff.

The Hive is a lovely library and cafe. The children love to visit and sit in the little nooks and crannies and read books. They have activities for the little ones occasionally- a movie night would be a fab idea!

Some might call it ugly on the outside but it is nice and spacious on the inside. The large windows in the children's section give a nice view of the passing trains and grassy area. There is an enclosed area for younger children to sit...More

A shared public library with the University of Worcester. It is housed in a fairly new building that is on various levels and also houses a cafe. The building is not to everyone's taste but nevertheless worth a visit.
