What a stunning park. Spent a good 5 hours here wearing out the kids. Beautiful scenery and miles and miles of unspoilt countryside. Car parking reasonable at £10 all day with a few places to grab a coffee and snacks.

The scale of the park will astonish you! There is so much space. It's well-maintained too. We saw a red kite in the air, which was stunning! It's an easy walk from the castle, and free!

This is a lovely outdoor space that gives you a sense of openness and exploration although you are very close to built up areas. A lovely meander to escape the rat race!
