Boulter’s Lock and Ray Mill Island is the perfect get-away from Maidenhead. The area is peaceful and makes for a great nature walk. The river Thames completes the scenery with it’s wildlife and sheer beauty.

Such a lovely place, nice cafe within grounds..very peaceful and picturesque. There is an aviary with cute guinea pigs as well. This place is somewhere to relax and unwind. The weir is nice to see. Plenty of benches

We saw Boulters Lock after going to The Boulters Brasserie (see sep review). What a lovely place to visit and afterwards we strolled along the embankment of the Thames for a peaceful and lovely 25 minute walk
