The ever-changing art exhibitions are a considerable draw but the permanent collections should not be overlooked. Fabulous archaeology from Wessex needs to be dropped in on frequently. There is too much to take in in one visit.

Visited this establishment with a person who has dementia & they enjoyed it. One thing, when you buy your ticket you can go as many times as you like again within that year, so good value for money. lots of good art.

We went to the museum, which is housed in a beautiful old building, to see the exhibition of art on ancient monuments. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
