Located at the side of Leeds Railway Station along New Station Road is The Brewery Tap ,a wonderful beer oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the train station.
The interior is cozy ,lovely decor and furnishings, lots of seating options and a serving bar with lots of beer options both on draught and in bottles and cans.
We were here on a Tuesday evening, we ordered an ipa each to start with which was truly delicious, from the first sip till the last sup a totally refreshing brew, after our first beer my brother went for a pale ale while I opted for a more robust dark stout, an absolutely tasty brew ,a beer style not to rush but to savour but being in such a lovely brewery tap enjoying a quality brew why would you want to rush anything, my brother Stephen also gave me a thumbs up to his pale ale.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to The Brewery Tap we had a fab time.
The Brewery Tap is easy to locate along New Station Street, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Relaxed comfortable bar, ideal for a chat over a very nice beer.

Friendly staff, spaceous bar, comfortable seats, perfect location near the train station, but the best thing about this clean unpretentious venue is the beer.
The second best thing, is that you can comfortably hold a conversation without shouting in competition with a TV!
Evry train station should have an oasis of calm such as this!

30th birthday hire out
Feb 2020 • Family
I hired out the upstairs for my 30th birthday and it couldn’t have been any better. Every member of staff was most helpful and friendly, everything went super smooth. We ordered from the private hire buffet and the food cooked was simply amazing. We were able to play our own music through the speakers later on. I’ll be recommending this place to others as nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou all for looking after us!

Disappointing visit
Oct 2019
This is one of my wife and I's favourite places to eat and drink in Leeds. Came in at lunchtime and very disappointed to find that the lovely light lounge area with the nice seats at the railway end of the pub had a barrier of chairs to stop people going there for the simple reason that they were not busy. Was forced to eat at a small square table with highish chairs with the result my fork fell on the floor having made a gravy mess on my trousers on its way down! The only other tables free were opposite the disabled loo in a dark corner.
Friendly staff, good beer and food but why deliberately make it less attractive; it has certainly put me off and I cannot never take my wife there now? My wife cannot do stairs and my knees are not like they used to be so going upstairs to eat is not an option. I hope they have a re-think and hope they open up the most comfortable and attractive part of the pub again. It is a lovely pub - why deliberately ruin it?

Came here Saturday afternoon and had a couple of beers. It is a very nice compact place, very comfy armchairs and we watched the world go by - highly recommended.

A lucky find
Jun 2019 • Couples
After a moderately stressful train journey to Leeds we chanced upon this little gem just a few yards from the railway station.
Initially was just quenching our thirst but decided to try the food. Sooo glad we did.
Steak and onions Yorkshire pudding sandwiches with skin on Fries and a pot of rich onion gravy to dip and dunk. OMG TASTED AMAZING. It’s dog friendly which is a must for us and they made us all welcome.
Penny particularly enjoyed her sharing platter. It wasn’t on the menu but she just stared until we shared lol 😂
The staff were friendly and helpful we will definitely recommend and return

Great beers.

The Brewery Tap was a fantastic real ale and craft beer bar we found as we were wandering around this part of town and what a great find.
The bar looks superb, a modern light and airy interior with great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar, beer barrel tables and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it's a great place to enjoy a beer or two .
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a roasting hot Saturday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a beer each, I opted to have Strongarm Brewery " ruby red ale " while my brother went for Kirkstall Brewery " three swords " both these beers were served in tip top condition, we got a nice table and just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
My beer was outstandingly good, a deep red coloured beer,a zesty and refreshing beer and very easy to drink and a beer style I really enjoyed, my twin brother Stephen also gave the thumbs up to his beer.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great bar.
The Brewery Tap is really easy to locate on New Station Road which is also a bit of a party area teeming with pubs and bars.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Thursday, Midday till 11pm.
Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight.
Sunday, Midday till 10.30pm.
A great beer bar and well worth checking out.
