The Museum's view of Victorian England is, without a doubt, one of the most comprehensive I have seen. It offers an in-depth and simple look into the times and covers a wide range of topics from education to childcare and lifestyle. Children have plenty to...More

Children will love this museum, lots to see, touch and experience. Two parts , the Victorian street with shops, cobblestones and a pub. Up stairs, toys from the past - very interesting. Place for dressing up and enjoying reading in Old mother Hubbard's shoe.

Visited with some friends to see the exhibition A woman’s place. The exhibition was interesting and well laid out. The permanent displays relating to children’s toys and games are a trip down memory lane. Great cafe too.

Went to the museum with 2 small children. It was very interesting for us all and catered well for the little people with quizzes, crafts and colouring . A good look at how shops and streets used to be.

Hi, I’ve not done the ghost hunt, but the place does have an eerie feel to it in as much that it is dark in places and is cobbled like Victorian London.

I'm afraid only assistance dogs are allowed in the museum. Sorry! Would have loved to see her in her hat and dress!
