Visited with a German friend on a lovely crisp January day. Lovey peaceful atmosphere. Sang in the main isle in English and German. Had a short guided personal tour and set a candle alight, wonderful the peace and quiet.

I often call into St Anne's Cathedral I think its a beautiful tranquil Church with so much history. But step inside, and its beauty will surround you like a comfort blanket.

Unlike many cathedrals this building is a fairly ordinary looking church which doesn't have the outside space or location to emphasis it's status. Inside has some nice features but again it lacks the grandeur of some other cathedrals. I imagine many visitors would say their local parish churches have better architectural features. Having said that we did attend a service... More

A quiet elegance and air of serenity engulf you on entering the cathederal, The building is an abundance of beauty, in what ever way you look the cathederal is right in the centre of the busy city centre, but offers a calming hub to take stock and reflect

It is expected that a cathedral would be an impressive showpiece church and the pride of the diocese. My own Catholic church in my parish in Lancashire, is much... More

Not being a Roman Catholic myself, I was very impressed with the decor of the Cathedral. I have visited several in my time, Liverpool, Limerick & Coventry, but this stands out to be the BEST. Well Done
