This is a Yorkshire gem. The journey goes on a nice route and stops off at some lovely places not least Haworth. All on a proper steam engine. The twice yearly beer festival is also great fun.

We really enjoyed our short jaunt to Oxenhope, the smells and the sounds taking me back to bygone days. The enthusiasm of the team of dedicated volunteers was infectious and the television and film credits make for an interesting read.

Great railway takes you back in time, stop in Oakworth to see where the railway children was filmed and Haworth for good food.
