Easy walking on the old railway, this is popular with families, cyclists, runners and dog walkers. There are great views and some fascinating features of local history. The pathway is filled with maturing planting of indigenous plants

This trail is a short part of what is to be much longer linking Cullingworth to Queensbury. I walk this trail numerous times every year and find it a great experience each time. The views from Hewenden viaduct are spectacular.

Nice Sunday afternoon stroll. Away from traffic so good for toddlers. Nice countryside views. Only a few facilities along the way but close enough for a nip into the village to top up with supplies.

It is ideal for dog walking. The views are stunning. Especially when it snows in the winter. With the icicles hanging from the viaduct it looks like a scene from the front of a christmas card

You can walk or cycle along the tracks. You can see a waterfall and walk over the old railway viaducts, which are impressive. Good car free area
