For a free museum it's certainly has a lot to offer. Kids love it, grown ups love it. Been coming here as a child and I'm glad it's still free. Probably the best museum in the North with its galleries, media sections, iMax and cafe!

This unit almost closed a few years ago but a new team freshen the exhibits and made it child and therefore school friendly. Teens , small children and adults can all have a good day. I'm glad it's been rescued as the concept is brilliant.
