I’ve recently been twice to this place, once with (very old) adult friends and once with my four year old nephew. I’ll go again. There’s loads to see and everyone has a great time.

For a free museum it's certainly has a lot to offer. Kids love it, grown ups love it. Been coming here as a child and I'm glad it's still free. Probably the best museum in the North with its galleries, media sections, iMax and cafe!

We come here often and always have a great time. Wonderlab is fab and the workshops they run are fun and informative. The Cubby Broccoli cinema is great too.

This unit almost closed a few years ago but a new team freshen the exhibits and made it child and therefore school friendly. Teens , small children and adults can all have a good day. I'm glad it's been rescued as the concept is brilliant.

Great atmosphere, friendly approachable staff, enjoyed looking around though probably more so than my 7yr old boy. Think I'd have rather gone around alone first before taking children with me.
