This is a great little museum to visit for an hour or so. We went during the half term so it was quite busy, if you can, visit during term time! There's some remains of a Roman bath house and Roman artefacts on the ground floor. The second floor is about the local history with some interesting artefacts and activities... More

One of Chichester's appeals is that it's a wonderful place to visit. It's compact and layered with a treasure trove of history. That is when they built it, complete with city walls, an... More

I really enjoyed the exhibition and learned lots that I hadn't known before. The only downside is the dreadful blue lighting (it might create atmosphere but makes it difficult to read) and the too-loud music. If it wasn't for that I would have given it five stars.

Tim Peake exhibition is well worth a visit. Our son was particularly impressed with this. A good mix of interactive activities as well as information on screens & boards. Good view of the cathedral (although it was very foggy on day we visited,. Also the Roman remains on the ground floor were interesting. Well worth a visit.
