I had gained the impression from publicity that this exhibition was not just about Julian Trevelyan but his "circle" of artist friends and acquaintances. In the event, there was very little about his circle, and not a great deal about his wife. For instance, I...More

Great place to visit as it is set located in a Georgian street and the building is modern and traditional. It’s not too big. It has fabulous restaurant and lunch menu and dinner has always been delicious. There is a cafe and in good west...More

As Art Fund Members we visit many gelleries in Sussex and elsewhere and this is one of the best. Great ASrt, great food, great ambiance in great town.

Lovely gallery in a beautiful old building, slightly tucked away but in the town centre. Good variety of exhibitions on when we visited photography and Virginia Woolf plus permanent collection The café in the courtyard is well worth a visit, as is the shop.
