Just been to watch the panto "Find a Prince for Princess Daisy". Went with a toddler and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast are really friendly and come and dance in the audience at the end. Great little theatre - love the way it's set out informally with tables and you also get a free drink and jammy dodgers!!

I am very one of the actors at The Wheatsheaf, it is a lovely local theatre. We have plays, variety, Christmas and panto. Our auditorium is set out in a comfy cabaret style with tables and chairs rather than aisle seats. Each ticket comes with a free complimentary drink and biscuits. We also have a bar. We are always looking... More

Absolutely amazing, thoroughly enjoyed this production. If you get a chance pop along and see for yourself, you won't be disapointed. Thanks to the weatsheaf players.

First time visit to watch my step daughter perform (ok, so slightly biased!). Was quite taken aback by the friendly nature of the staff, offered a free drink and biscuits (biscuits = big plus). Comfy seating at tables which was far better than regimented rows and meant as a family or group unit you could still be together and not... More

Great theatre where I have been to many productions (serious ones, farces and pantos) all brilliant in their own right. Seats around 100 people and very social atmosphere with little round tables and a free glass of wine or juice and biscuits upon arrival is included in the already cheap ticket price which is a great perk. For those where... More

What a superb venue . Warm and friendly. Very good value for money and within walking distance from home. The small bar has a variety of drinks including tea and coffee and productions are very entertaining. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a lovely small theatre, seating is at tables and included in ticket price is a glass of wine and biscuit. Prices are very realistic and everyone has a great view of the stage

Been to many productions over the past ten years and always had an enjoyable evening. They may be amateurs but they can hold their own against the professional local theatre. Add an informal tables seating arrangement and the wine and biscuits included in the ticket price and we have a brilliant local asset on our doorstep.
