This 12th century church is more impressive than the modern cathedral and was free on a Sunday morning. Yes it has an impressive Last Judgement painting, but i liked the stained glass better.

We love looking round churches and this one is lovely. Great friendly guides available. Beautiful stained glass. Right in the middle of town. Just in front of the Cathedral.

Hope I've got the right church? But the Doom painting was fascinating and worth a quick look. A big contrast to the Cathedral.

With the Cathedral destroyed by German bombers, Holy Trinity just down the road was lucky to survive. It's a wonderful example of a medieval church, with wonderful carvings, great stained glass and a superb atmosphere.

This is beautifully preserved 12th century church that gives you a feel of what the medieval cathedral would have been like. The Doom painting is wonderful. Helpful and friendly guides were an unexpected bonus. Perfect for an hour in a restful setting.

A great example of a 12 centuary Church building located in the heart of the city and next door to the Cathedral. The Stain glass window at the front of the Church is amazing.
