I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon walking around Coombe Abbey. But there have been lots of changes since i first visited over 45 years ago. The original playground with the paddling pool has gone. There is now a monstrosity of a visitors centre 'stuck' near the play area, what an eyesore not in keeping with the beautiful park setting. the cafe... More

Really lovely place to walk the dogs and take my younger sisters with me as there are things to do through out the park. On the way in that's ducks and swans who dosent love feeding them? It's good on nice sunny days.

The grounds of the abbey are huge. If you enjoy walking perhaps taking the dog then you're spoilt for which paths to follow. There's a huge lake with many wild birds on it to feed and observe. The Woods are also very big and easy to get lost in. There is many areas of open grassland with bbq stations so... More

Coombe Abbey Country Park is always worth a visit. I've been so many times, at different times of the year throughout all the seasons. On my own or with a family it has an enjoyable pleasant atmosphere all year round. The park has a very spacious and open feeling with well laid out walks, good sign-posts and plenty of entertainment... More

Been going here for years as live not far away. Used to take the grandchildren there. It has retained its individuality and is not commercialised if you don't want to have meals in the actual Coombe Abbey. The lake and views lovely. You can picnic or just wander through lovely walks in tune with nature.
