Arbury Hall

Great on the outside but nothing fantastic in the interior. the outside areas are delightful, and a lovely lake. its not open often and I think it is overpriced for what you see.

Although the opening times state otherwise there hasn't been one time I've visited year round when it has been open, the opening times are next to the gate but the gate always has a closed sign on it which is strange. I've had recommendation from many people to visit, but it seems recently they just don't bother opening.

A family owned property that is only opened on bank holidays. Definitely worth a visit, dog friendly (gardens only) and very knowledgeable guides in the house. The most amazing ceilings there are apparently modelled on Westminster abbey! Interesting family history and wonderful furniture and artwork whilst still feeling very homely. Lovely garden walks and great areas for picnics. There is... More

This is a little gem which is lovely to take our visitors to. It has interesting history and its great that the family still live in the hall. Reasonably priced admission too.

We visited Arbury Hall as a coach party and were lucky as this was the last day of opening for the season. We were welcomed and made extremely welcome. We divided into two group for a tour of the house. The guide was very informative. Unfortunately due to time we were unable to take full advantage of the gardens.

Staying in Warwickshire on the Bank Holiday weekend, very lucky to fall upon Arbury Hall. It only opens on Bank Holiday weekends! Took a tour of the house, which on a very wet Sunday was a relief. Guide was superb and extremely knowledgable. The Hall was an absolute gem. The most notable features were the ceilings, gothic and spectacular. Not... More

Visited Arbury Hall this week. Was stunned by the ceilings. Every room was different and beautiful. The guides were informative and helpful and the cream tea later was superb.. The gardens and grounds were well laid out and there were lovely walks. Well worth going to visit,

Arbury Hall is only open in the afternoon on a few weekends so we seized our chance on the 2nd May Bank Holiday and we found a real gem. Hall visit is by guided tour only but the Gothic revival ceilings are incredible and there are lots of wonderful Elizabethan portraits e.g the beautiful (and naughty!) Fitton sisters. Although the...
