Firstly, Steve is a boss!!! Nicest guy we’ve ever spoke to, very friendly, helpful and nice to be around. Talked us through the rewards scheme and hospitality was second to none.

Great for all the Family
Jun 2021
We had a great day out here. The staff are friendly and nice, the parking is £2.50 for the whole day and there are lots of activities, restaurants, shops including Bear Grills experience (which we may try next time), Escape Hunt which we tried this time and it was GREAT! Its changed a lot since the last time we were there which was a quick visit after an expo at the NEC. Great for all the family. Enjoy.

Not what it once was
Jun 2021 • Family
Really disappointed. Came here for first time following lock down, sad to see half the shop units gave gone, and an, unopened, Hollywood bowl plonked in the middle. Shame really, as it's now quite small

We’re sorry to hear that your visit was not what you had hoped. Things are looking a little different in our outlet mall and there have been some changes. Some stores have relocated within the building and others have sadly left us. There’ll always be great brands to shop at outlet prices but we also have many great dining and entertainment experiences to enjoy and new things coming to see and experience, building on what we know our guests love to do.

Spa restrictions & no restaurant availability.
May 2021 • Couples
If booking a getaway and wanting to use the advertised facilities READ THE SMALL PRINT signature room guests may only get access to leisure facilities between 6 & 9 or 10 but even then access isn't guaranteed, you have to wait until check-in to see if there availability. We chose to upgrade our room after being told we couldn't pre-book but superior rooms could have access from 3pm. Still not guaranteed though. Thought we'd chance it. 3 days later they email to say we can't eat in the sky bar restaurant as we had requested upon booking as there was no availability. So much for our anniversary getaway! Shame hotels guests seem to be given no kind of priority when it comes to booking these things. Really disappointed and now looking for an alternative hotel to celebrate.
Only thing I'm thankful for is that I had put the request in when booking and we hadn't waited until check in to be told all this!

We're very disappointed to hear that your Genting Hotel experience was not as you had hoped. At the moment, due to capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines our spa and many of our restaurants are very busy especially for these few weeks after re-opening, we hope you can understand. All of our venues are doing their best to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We will be sure to pass all of your feedback on to the teams involved.

Not challenging people who aren't wearing masks
Oct 2020
We have visited a couple of times during the global pandemic. The 1st time is was very quiet and a pleasure to walk around. This time is was busy, and very stressful, due to many people walking around without masks inside (which is the law at the moment) and coming in close proximity to others.

So I might hear you ask, why give Resorts World a bad review due to the people visiting it? Well, if I go to the Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, just down the road, security are challenging visitors to wear their masks and being ask to leave if they don't. Well, at Resorts World this wasn't happening at all. We didn't see any security during the time we visited, asking people to wear their masks. Plus in the shops no one was challenging them either.

Yes I understand that some people have medical reasons why they can't wear a mask, but those people wear a lanyard with a sunflower on it to show they can't wear a mask. I saw 1 person wearing one. The rest didn't.

Also in nearly every shop the hand sanitiser at the door was empty. So it looks like people are using them, but if you visit in the afternoon then you are out of luck, as they aren't refilling / replacing them. Therefore I advise you to bring your own.

I have visited a number of places during the pandemic and I would have to say that this was the worst. People need to be educated that they need to wear a mask (and wear it properly) and if they haven't got a mask then they should be asked to leave (if they aren't exempt). This is for the health of the staff and the visitors.

We will certainly not be revisiting Resorts World until they start challenging people to wear their masks or until after the pandemic.

We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your latest visit with us. We take guest safety and security very seriously and make every effort to ensure all of our guests are aware, including anyone who should forget on entry or while walking around our building, that masks are required by law. We also have regular signage throughout the building of the latest regulations and safety measures, round the clock cleaning, and plenty of regularly replenished hand sanitiser stations throughout the building. We are constantly reviewing our safety measures and all of your comments will be looked into by the relevant teams.
