Ample parking then straight into the park, stroll around the lake or visit the regular and varied events in the grounds. stop for an ice-cream or a full lunch/ diner in the MAC centre then perhaps take in a show within the MAC's theatre itself.

Big park that is great for families with kids and dogs. Parking is fine and easily accessible with everything you need for a nice afternoon.

Whilst in Birmingham decided to picnic with the family in Cannon park. Many times we have walked through this park on the way to the cricket . But today we decided to spend some time here for lunch-picnic. The day was hot and so no problem. We walk around the lake and then took a pedal boat. Instant hit with... More

2 miles away from our house. Very good place to go with kids and dogs. Beautiful in all seasons. A lot of events going on, Check 'what's on' and go!

Too much fast food - you'd expect better from a place of 'culture'.... and the ordering organization is rather confusing...

We went here with my family for a picnic yesterday, the park is quite nice but the kids swings and play area are a bit out dated, the council or whoever manages it should do something.

Had an amazing day out here with my 18month old. He loved the mini fair which wasn't too expensive and the swan pedlos was great plus loads of space for him to run around. Had food at the little cafe in the middle which again was descent pricing and nice food!

Canon hill park is a must see place if you're visiting Birmingham. It has beautiful greenery and tranquility. However it has something for everyone to do such as pedal boats, the MAC and many event that are healed there bringing everyone together! But do watch out for parking as it can be tricky at times, despite the 2 car parks.

We're quite local so manage to get here relatively easily. We've had picnics here and walked around and the place is lovely. Considering the close proximity to the city center (maybe 2 miles), it feels very rural. You'll see people walking, running, cycling, kite flying, droning, playing games and relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. The cafe and entertainment center is... More
