Acoustically is one of the best in the world, and also has a degree of echo due to adjustable concrete doors giving reverberation within the hall. I found when visiting recently it had a magical feeling when listening to a concert. It is also used...More

Particularly impressive acoustics and facilities but why can so few theaters manage to sell programmes without long queues?

SH concerts - good but expensive ! SH is a superb venue. Worst aspect is the very dear car parks. Brindley place very expensive over £9 for about 3 hours. But SH and Canal Quarter marvellous - prizes to the architects !

First time visit to the Symphony Hall, very impressed with the layout, we had seats in 1a, plenty of leg room and a good view, on the plus side Rob Brydon put on a brilliant show, great night out.

Went to see Karl Jenkins here conducting the Manchester Concert Orchestra along with the Manchester Chorale, It was absolutely fantastic - the acoustics are wonderful and you are just drawn right into the music. We had excellent seats and just thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Hello, This concert hall is well designed, so you should be able to see from even the side lines! However, stall are best or just the first floor. Middle seats are also good. Best wishes Eva

Hi there is no dress code at Symphony Hall. The people you have seen dressed in dinner jackets and ball gowns would have been going to the Convention Centre which is on the right hand side of the atrium. Wear whatever you... More
