enjoyed this museum, the Egyptian things were what I wanted to see, and they were really good. I did get a bit lost, and found the signposting a bit confusing, but asked for help and found the right room then. well worth a visit

Enjoyed looking at the ancient Egyptian mummified bodies including a Nile crocodile, snake and cat. Had lots of smaller artefacts to look at. Free entry.

This venue has been part of my life since childhood and is always worth a visit. Birmingham has one of the best collections of Pre-Raphaelite paintings in the country; we’re so fortunate to have it. There are always interesting exhibitions on including the Staffordshire Hoard....More

A great day out for all ages. From looking up about the ancient Egyptians to today's era. Cafe on site, what more can you ask for.

This gallery occupies a stunning Victorian building in the city centre. Both from outside and inside the architecture is wonderful. However, as an art gallery we found it a little disappointing. It felt tired and lacking in life. It isn't easy to pinpoint the problem...More

Has the finest collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings of any public gallery. Various temporary exhibitions at regular intervals. The building itself, which combines with the city council house, is a fine example of Victorian grandeur

There are a number of car parks quite close, the nearest is the multi storey on Cambridge Street, less than 5 minutes walk away. It is quite expensive during the day. We use the train as it's cheaper.

I'm not very disabled but I have difficulty walking and I found the museum very disabled friendly. The lifts are good and there's masses of space for wheelchairs
