Great location in Birmingham central for all train stations. Only thing that lets it down in the very expensive drinks, sweets and ice creams on sale, especially when you take into account the cost of the tickets, and getting there with 4 small children

Went to see this fantastic show at the Hippodrome. What an amazing musical, you can not fail to be uplifted. All the cast were amazing and the young kids are so talented. It made want to come home and tap dance. Definitely will go see it again. So glad I got to see it 'on my own doorstep' as the... More

We are so very lucky to have this fantastic theatre on our doorstep here in Birmingham. Billy Elliot adds another massive success to their long record of attracting the very best shows. Just one ask. Please sort the lifts out. 92 year old mother in law and disabled daughter aged visibly whilst they waited for the one working lift to... More

The modern facade of this building is deceptive as the auditorium itself is built on a Victorian style with a very steep circle, stalls and gallery boxes. It's quite grand. I've been to see several ballets and the Phantom of the Opera here. The sound is excellent, production of the highest quality. As with most large theatres the view from... More

Been here few times and never get disappointed with the performance! The seating is well-organized, and it is very comfortable, but sometimes a little bit too hot. But overall, it's a good place to enjoy performances

Just go and see this show and you will not be disappointed as it is in a great venue with a superb cast. The stage production is second to none, powerful folk story of the miners strike and a young boy's journey as an exceptional talented dancer. So much rehearsal time, passion and energy shone through and great Northern humour... More
