We come here pretty much every year to visit the Autosport Show. It seems that many of the facilities here have had a substantial, and most welcome, upgrade since our last visit which is good to see. Downsides - well the parking is very very expensive (and highly variable since the motorhome show was free), and £12 a day is... More

The NEC obviously hosts multiple events, conferences and exhibitions - and does so very well. My suggestion - if you can use the railway - book rail tickets in advance to get the best rate and leave your car at home. It;s around a 5 - 10 minute indoor (mostly) walk from Birmingham International to the NEC so pretty handy.... More

This is a great exhibition venue. Busy restaurant (good selection of food) bit pricy but always hot. Extremely accessible, plenty of parking, free shuttle busses running between the car park and the railway station. But on the downside the Craft Show is an expensive venue to visit particularly as the majority of crafters are senior citizens.

We love going to the NEC, as it's so easy to get to, either by car, plenty of car parking and free transfers to the centre or by train taking you right into the NEC. Lots of eating places around the centre or in the exhibition itself. We go for the Caravan and Motorhome show, plenty of stalls and exhibitors..... More

Having been a publicity manager during my working years and having been an exhibitor at a number of exhibitions over the years (including the 4th ever exhibition nearly 40 years ago), as well as visitor, I think that the NEC has many plus points. The proximity of the Railway Station and Airport as well as the extensive motorway network and... More

I went here a few weeks ago for the Warley Show, the largest model railway exhibition in Britain and probably also Europe. The NEC is a great venue for anyone of any age with any interest. I came by train and it was as quick, easy signposted route from the platforms. The staff I spoke to were friendly, but they... More

Went to the Education show. Such a huge place to navigate. Found my exhibition hall, which was well catered after entry. Outside the hall entrance is lots of food outlets and newsagents too. Great connections from train station to exhibition halls. Parking charge on the higher side of reasonable. Regular buses from the car park mean you can avoid the... More
