Luna cinema drive through
Dec 2020 • Friends
Arrived through a tunnel of fairy lights to collect our speaker which made it feel really festive, then on to the parking area. Very well organised with numbers on wing mirrors and helpers masked up and using scooters to deliver orders. Arrived early so we could unpack our picnic in the car and set out fairy lights on the dash board! We watched Love Actually, which was fabulous and had a brilliant view of the screen, the speaker was clear as were instructions. At the end cars were directed to leave a row at a time which flowed really well with no queuing. Will definitely go to another Luna showing as it’s a great way of enjoying a night out safely during the current situation. Although in a bubble, we were extra cautious and had our windows open so would recommend blankets. It was FAB!

Huge
Mar 2020 • Friends
This exhibition centre is huge. We visit to watch Crufts dog show and had a great day. There were plenty of cafe's shops and even a Wetherspoons to get lunch and a drink. The car parks are vast and we walked instead of using the courtesy bus and it was quite a hike. We felt that £16 for a day's parking was steep and shudder at the cost of paying a further premium to park closer.

Whify and I took a Dolphin coach trip from Weston super mare for the Saturday. Our first visit to the NEC and we would highly recommend it as a venue. In our opinion it was well organised and every time we needed help getting around the venue, there always seemed to be someone to ask, and the response in every occasion was polite, cheerful and correct. I am getting on a bit, but getting around the venue was no big choir and of course the dogs were fantastic. So, good event and excellent venue. Looking forward to another trip here.

Responsive and hygienic - thank you.

Having emailed the NEC about concerns regarding current viral issues, a response was given, with reassurance that events would go ahead as planned, with additional cleansing opportunities being available.
Once there, I did find a huge range of hand gels available, inside the toilet areas and at the first customer entry point of all food outlets that I passed/visited.
Thank you.

Parking
Feb 2020 • Friends
There’s lots to do at the NEC/resorts world And it’s well presented but the cost of the parking is ridiculous! £16 we were charged and we were only there for 1.5 hours for the wedding show. It is £16 for the day but considering we weren’t there even 2 hours, I think it’s awful! I personally will not be driving next time I go there as it’s cheaper to get the train. Despite the NEC being lovely, I’m rating this as poor because of how steep the parking was. I can’t believe they get away with charging such a high flat rate regardless of time spent there. If I’d have spent several hours there I’d have been more understanding.

First time at this venue for caravan and motorhome exhibition. Good signs from the motorway and plenty of parking on arrival. Marshalls assisting with parking which was excellent.

Good bus transfers from the car parks to the venue which were frequent and highly efficient particularly in the bad weather. Large venue with 5 arenas within. Plenty of places to eat although choice was limited to mainly sandwiches. Toilets in each arena, clean and in working order. Good venue and event.
