We arrived to find that a memorial service was being held by the Warwickshire fire brigade consequently we had little opportunity to delve into the church and all its treasures.

Very nice church. About one of only a few that I’ve visited that don’t ask for a donation from you to take photos. Two really ornate tombs in it, one made of bronze holding the body of the Earl of Warwick, very impressive!

See Robert Dudley’s tomb and 14th century Earl of Warwick’s The Beauchamps. Climb to the top of the Tower for beautiful views.

You can see the spire of the church from pretty much anywhere in town as well as hearing the bells. The church is currently undergoing an external renovation, but don't let this deter you from entering. Suggested donation is £1 per person and it is...More

St Mary's is a church, not a cathedral. It is beautifully proportioned and contains a number of intact and impressive medieval and Tudor tombs. The guides are helpful and friendly and the experience, like everything in Warwick, is intimate and unspoiled. We visit here whenever...More

We wandered around freely taking in all the nooks and crannies, went down into the crypt to look at the old stones, most fascinating place steeped in history and well worth a visit. Altars and carvings were really beautiful as were the windows.

Great church to visit to get some idea just how important the Earls of Warwick have been during the history of England. Some great stained glass to see but some of it has been restored with errors. The body of an Earl of Warwick with...More

My partner and I visited this beautiful church during our short stay in Warwick. We were recommended to visit after visiting the castle, so that we would understand the significance of the tombs inside. The crypt, tombs and tower are all worth exploring and the...More
