Quietly reflective

Not too formal, but well laid out. A quiet retreat in a bustling tourist trap (visited in the hieght of the school holidays). Very restful.

The garden is awesome, very well kept and extremely peaceful. The Remembrance parade every November is stunning and emotional but an amazing way to pay homage to the fallen.

When I visit Stratford-upon-Avon, I often walk passed here on a circular walk along the river and back into town. The memorial is off to the side, across the road. but noticeably there nevertheless. It speaks to me briefly of the terror, hardship and sacrifice of war. I remember my uncles and father-in-law; all Second World War private soldiers in... More

Stumbled on this little place of remembrance and it was a lovely little garden to reflect in . The whole place was very pretty and befitting of its environment .

This was our second visit. We had come just to have a sit down in the Autumn sunshine, having spent some time previously looking at the memorials and plaques etc. However, we still ended up going around the garden again. Our 20-minute rest turned into another one hour visit. If you visit the church make sure you set aside some... More

Went there November 15th 2015. for the 2nd time whilst staying in Stratford. garden is kept really well by the council - origionally paid for by british legion plus donations. Very tranquil with many plaques for people who died in both WW's and since. As it was only a few days after the 11 of the 11 remembrance service we... More

A very pretty and tranquil garden of remembrance away from the noise and busyness of the town. The gardens are well kept and very fitting to remember all those who have lost their lives to allow us to have the life we live.

We came across the Garden of Remembrance by chance. It is an amazing tribute to those who lost their lives serving their country. The garden is well maintained and there is plenty of seating areas if you wish to take time out to think and reflect. It is a wonderful opportunity to pay your respects to the Fallen.
