Visited with the family to see a production of Tamburlaine. Theatre is modern & clean. Seating is thoughtfully laid out in small blocks, which all afford great views of the stage. Excellent acoustics. Only criticism - far too hot in the auditorium. Good bar service....More

This theatre oozes history and is an excellent re-imagining of an Elizabethan playhouse. It’s intimacy is refreshing and a world away from a typical theatre with proscenium arch. The facilities are excellent with a bar nearby, handy loos, wheelchair access etc. My favourite theatre!
