"Sweet swan of Avon" Shakespeare, was here! The place is the biggest building in the small town of Stratford Upon Avon and there is a nice park around it. Even if you can't make time to see a play, make sure you check the giftshop...More

I love this place and I've not yet seen a play here! The building is lovely big and airy. The shop is very well stocked and prices are mixed but I'd say there is something for everyone. The cafe is great and overlooks the river....More

Theatre trip for birthday - Julius Caesar. Very good night, however, one of our seats had a pillar in the way of stage, although we booked seats without restricted view

Superb staff, amazing venue and beautifully kept; one of the highlights of Stratford. If you visit you must book a play as the performances are exceptional.

Such a lovely theatre with incredible actors / modern interpretations of Shakespeare. The current show Titus is moving and bloody gruesome. My twelve year old thought it was so cool .

It’s much ado about a lot. You simply have to because it is the most famous of all theatres (IMO). Great shows, professional cast and just absorb the theatrical ambience, setting, history and revel in any of the shows they put on.

There is also a car park by the side of the Premier Inn Waterways by the side of the canal. As long as children supervised you can walk along tow path to RSC, about 15 mins walk.

In the main theatre, they do tip up, but the spring is not so strong that it will tip you up too! The seats are more comfortable and a bit more roomy than the Swan.
