Booked the canal and river tour at £6.00 per person and it was spot on. Through the locks and down the river to the informative and amusing commentary along with some classical music. They feed the water birds so you get quite a following. Well worth checking out

You can't really go to Stratford and not take a walk along the canal/river. Its perfect for a slow, lazy stroll when you want to get away from the town and stretch your legs in the fresh air for an hour or two. Its very pleasant and picturesque.

Lovely walk along canal - weather permitting! Lots of wildlife, once you get away from the town centre.

Took advantage of a boat trip up and down the river. So relaxing and serine. Very interesting information available by using the hand held recording system.

Whilst staying at the Waterside Premier Inn we had a very pleasant walk along the tow path into the town centre.

The boat tour that you can do at the canal was awesome. It was very informative, provided with head sets so you can follow along with each stop and point. It was also very beautiful and relaxing to float along and see the various houses, greenery, and history in this town.

After exploring some of the town and visiting a few attractions, we walked down to the canal. There were a few live singers to entertain. We walked across a foot bridge to the other side of the canal which overlooked part of the town and the RSC theatre. Lovely wide pedestrian paths running parallel to the canal. We were heading... There is a very nice circular walk around the Avon starting at the RSC. Beware though because part of it can be quite muddy so boots required, but well worth it

The town seems to revolve around the canal and why not? It is certainly beautiful! The marina is well kept although empty on a cold winters day when we attended. Still a few boats and rowers to be seen where the canal meets the river and lovely for a walk along the banks
