Wacky and wonderful

This place is straight out of Harry Potter and brilliant! If there's anything magical you need, they will have it! They even have the real santa!

Found by chance. Cannot believe it's been here so long. The Magic Alley is a museum in a building that is over 500 years old so tight and narrow in places There is a quiz and a magical museum tour which changes every six weeks. At the end someone cares enough to mark your answers and you might be lucky... More

Didn't go into the attraction but really enjoyed the book shop. Great selection of unusual titles nice to see independent shops still going

Having visited when passing through Stratford we came back for a second visit during a weekend stay. The exhibitions and treasure hunt had changed so we were able to experience the whole thing anew. And got 100% right again :-) We also bought the first book in the Wizards Thatch series of books to read at home and loved it.... More

A fantastically quirky little place to go on a clue solving mission through parts of books written by the owner of the establishment. A great way for the author get interest in his stories and a fab time for our daughter of who thought it was the best part of our 2 days in Stratford. The clues are changed every... More

Visited today and it entertained my 11yr old Grandson for over an hour. The quiz kept him busy as we went through the different rooms. Exhibits are good and detailed storyline. Staff were friendly and took time to check his quiz answers.

I love this place, it's utterly bonkers and very charming. It's a small attraction, but, because they change the story on display regularly, it feels like a new attraction each visit. The puzzle that you can complete as you look around makes the experience so much more immersive and fun, I took my daughter for a birthday treat today and... More

VIsited here as a family, four adults two children. Initial!y it seemed small but the further you went the more interesting it became. It, successfully, kept us all interested. The quiz was extremely well thought out! Very clever and good value!

Came across this place by chance, fantastically friendly and very funny people who made us welcome. We (2 grown ups & 10 year old) thoroughly enjoyed solving the quiz and being awarded our certificates as graduates of the Ministry of Time. We bought all sorts of fun books in the shop. Our daughter is tearing through the Chronicles of Wizard's... More

Visited Stratford with my American friend last weekend, and as massive fans of the wizarding world we had to pay a visit. The Wizarding museum has changed a lot since my last visit; although we know nothing about The Wizard's Thatch series, the displays were beautiful and atmospheric and the cryptic puzzle sheet a lot of fun to fill in....
