Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

went for a visit to newcastle for the weekend, looked around online for crystal shops and decided this one as it was the closest, was not allowed entry without a mask, which is fair enough, so went and bought a mask before going back to the store. the man was very abrupt, no welcome or hello, and when we left we said thank you and bye to him and received nothing in return. the shop is ridiculously overpriced, i’ve been to many other crystal shops and none were priced as high as here. i understand being ethically sourced and creating profit, but they should not have been that expensive. the shop overall was not very welcoming, and even felt uncomfortable browsing. will not be returning.

the guy who owns it gives off bad vibes, the door gets locked behind you and its very strict of covid rules and doesnt even wear a mask himself. My friend went to reajust her mask and he suddently raised his voice and told her to put her mask back on,i understand if he wants to be safe but my friend didnt even take her mask off and it was still over her nose and mouth. If my friends mask was off or not over her nose i agree that he can tell her POLITELY to put it back on, but that was not the case. He lacks very little customer service and is way too strict on covid rules. Not to mention the crystals sold there were VERY overpriced and were NOT buget friendly, especially because most of the people who go there are teens or sudents and can not afford them when its that expensive. i recomment a place called little bazzar in granger market, the women who owns it is lovely and has many affordable tumbles and other crystlals.

This is a fantastic little emporium of delights; jewellry, pottery, cards, and all manner of lovely trinkets and unusual gifts. Please don't be influenced by one person's strange conclusions in the reviews below. Visit Elula for yourself and see what a wonderous little place it, and the cafe underneath, are. Buy something lovely in the shop, inhale the fragrant scents, then go down the spiral staircase and enjoy a relaxing cuppa with a slice of homemade cake with the gorgeous Donz in "Basement Snaxx" down the spiral staircase. You won't regret it.

It's ridiculous for Jolly Pet P to suggest that this small business discriminates against disabled people, simply because they require all customers to wear a mask in their tiny shop! What a stunning conclusion to come to from an act of safety and caring. The staff and/or their families might have health conditions that require them to stay extra safe whilst still making a living during these difficult times. Why, when small businesses are struggling to survive, would they, as is suggested, literally turn customers away? What a ridiculous suggestion! They are happy to serve those who can't (or, indeed, those who selfishly won't) wear masks at the door. They don't want to turn customers away in such difficult times for small businesses. Why would they?

I visited this shop last month as festivals had been cancelled due to COVID-19 and I needed supplies. It is a stunning shop, selling items that are hard to find elsewhere other than buying in bulk - which I cannot afford to do.
I was accompanied by my Personal Care Assistant as I am disabled and the staff could not do enough to help us with access and decision making. The prices were really good and within budget.
They not only deliver great customer service, they deliver excellent customer satisfaction and customer experience. I can highly recommend this business. Thanks for the cuppa
Sorry the review is late - I did promise to do it earlier but have been poorly.

Wonderful little shop with a wide variety of pagan and spiritual/alternative supplies. Quirky space, friendly, helpful staff, and enjoyed a workshop here! Recent review regarding ableism is vindictive and inaccurate.

This shop has been in Newscastle for as long as I can remember. Won't say how old I am but I'm a grandmother. It is simply beautiful. Stacked to the gills with exquisite merchandise. You literally feel as if you have entered through a portal into a magical realm. I don't know the name of the lady (owner?), but she is so knowledgeable she seems to radiate a mystical aura of her own. Whenever I've been for a browse/to buy something, I come away feeling as if I have journeyed to a magical wonderland.

An absolute oasis in a busy city centre.
Nothing in here but good vibes and good intentions, i find the staff courteous, helpful and really knowledgeable and passionate about the things they sell.
You helped my partner pick out the perfect gift for my birthday when I surreptitiously nudged him in your direction, and i often visit for crystals and jewellery.

Totally recommend.

As a pagan this is one of the few shops in the north east, I am also disabled on crutches so if you want to look at something ask a staff member they will do anything they can to help for disabled customers fetch and carry even get things off shelves or out of cabinets for you to look at even take things out to your car for you with the disabled parking right outside their door.
If you’re a disabled pagan or holistic practitioner I cannot recommend Elula highly enough

Elula is a wonderful shop which I have gone to on many occasions over the years.
I have always found the staff too be friendly, helpful and accommodating especially towards those with disabilities hidden or otherwise for people like myself.

Elua also has an amazing array of stock, its easy t sometimes get lost browsing even in such a small shop.
Also I do recommend the cafe down stairs its lovely.
