Wonderfully enacted performance with just three characters and minimal stage furniture, Miss Daisy played beautifully by Sian Phillips with faithful and patient chauffeur sympathetically portrayed by Derek Griffiths. 7:30 start, only disappointed it was over too quickly, finished prompt at 09:30

My wife and I attended the Dave Johns comedy night this evening and left extremely impressed. The staff were lovely and helpful and the venue itself is gorgeous. I’ve visited a couple of times and views from all areas are great. Fortunately we were right...More

Theatre Royal's offerings seem to get better & better. We saw 'Crazy for you' with Tom Chambers and it was excellent. Beautiful traditional theatre, recently refurbished. Comfy seats. Excellent.

We visited this theatre when we went to see Crazy for you, which was amazing. It's a lovely, old theatre. Comfortable seats. Clean, modern toilets. We didn't think the staff were that friendly anywhere in the theatre.

What a lovely birthday present. Seating will be OK but you could always get a cushion when you arrive at the theatre. There is no charge for this service.
