Late night walk

We walked home along the quayside after a visit to the theatre. Such a lovely scenic area of the city with views across the river to the Sage A must for any visitor

I love walking along the Quayside there is always something new going on. There are plenty of coffee/lunch/dinner opportunities along the way! The Sage is a great place to stop and admire. Sunday mornings there is a local market which is a great way to spend your morning.

If you visit Newcastle you need to come here. Amazing views and on a Sunday a wonderful market with street food. The baltic is free to visit along the quayside and gives great views of the town, or a walk along to the ouseburn.

Good place for a leisurely stroll or stop for a drink/coffee and watch the world go by. Even have a 'fake' beach area complete with sand and deckchairs. Lots of bars and eateries nearby - Beware of the skateboarders !

Good mix of bars and restaurants. Sunday morning local market too. Makes a change from town to watch the boats go by. If it's sunny take a walk down as it stretches for miles.

Plenty of life on the quayside, market on Sundays, food and crafts, pubs and eateries aplenty, nice walks either side along the river lit up at night may be different in party season! But worth a visit
