Sadly I couldn’t get access as it’s closed for repairs, which was a shame, I would have thought that the repairs could be carried out around the visitors, one section at a time. But clearly they deemed it necessary to close the entire building, apart...More

Sadly, the cathedral is currently closed for repairs during work days, so I only got to see the outside. Looks nice. Hope to visit when the repairs are complete.

The cathedral can be found a short walk from the railway station. The Roman Catholic cathedral is small but has some interesting modern stained glass and interesting icons. There is also a lovely little coffee shop on site where snacks can be purchased.

This was a bit of a surprise. The streets around the cathedral were very ordinary but thee cathedral itself was far from ordinary. Furthermore, there was a wonderful cafeteria for the weary traveler.

This is a beautiful place to visit. There is a new organ which has been put in place and it is fantastic to look at. There are a variety of stained glass windows, some newer ones with the most vivid colourings in. It was a...More
