Love walking around the grounds, however, the cafe isn't very eco friendly. My sister and I brought our own reusable cups which didn't fit in the machine so understandably they had to use something else instead. Yet when my sister looked she saw the lady using a different disposable cup for each drink (both were hot chocolates) completely defeating the object of reducing waste in the first place. Upon suggestion that they use a crockery cups in future for situations like this to reduce waste (something I think a country park should be keen on doing) she was ignored by the lady serving her.…

Nice winter walk out around rising sun country park, lot's of nice animals to see, great donkeys and wee horse's. If your lucky you might catch falcons on display I'm sure you can check time's. Good boots are a must as it is a bit muddy, but great to get out, you might even see the stag. Take some food for swans and duck's. Enjoy your walk…

There are lots of paths to wander round in this country park, which are clearly shown on the maps of the site. Good for wildlife - if you are very lucky you might spot deer. Cafe and toilets, small play area.

The council have stopped doing hot food at the cafe. You can get a takeaway hot drink and an excellent scone. The walk around was spoilt by many noisy people, having loud conversations, shouting at their phones, cyclists hurtling past two nearly colliding and as for the person who left a bag of dog mess on a bench... The stag has no antlers currently either sadly. Wildlife not anywhere to be seen in this busy noisy place. …
