Beautiful view

A walk up the top of the tower offered up some wonderful views of the Surrey countryside. Great tea and coffee from the hatch at the bottom too. Worth a visit

We parked at the land slip car park and took the off path route up to the lookout. This involves a scrabble up a bank and then a walk along the ridge, through the woods to the tower. At the tower we had a drink from the small cafe and took a trip up the tower. The tower is accessed... More

We stayed at the Plough Inn and it's a short ride to Leith Hill in the car we stopped at Starveal car park and from there we walked towards the tower. This is a pleasant walk towards a lovely spot, the tower which serves drinks and a selection of snacks which is handy on a cold day or on a... More

To get to the tower there is a bit of an uphill trek but once you get there the views are out of this world. I do suggest you try the ice-cream from the little cafe at the bottom of the tower. Then go up the stairs and at the top of the tower you can see for miles. The... More

This is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. Lots of walking available and the view from the top of the tower is fantastic. They charge you to go up but it's very reasonable, just a couple of quid. The little kiosk at the bottom sells tea/coffee and cakes etc which you eat/drink outside.

Great place to spend a few hours walking with some lovely views over the Surrey Hills. You can also grab a coffee and a cake at the base of the tower

A really pleasant afternoon out. We parked in the “Landslip” car park and walked on up to the top of Leith Hill itself, the car park is free to national trust members and a small fortune if your not. The walk to the top of the hill is only about ¾ of a mile but it did contain some steep... More

The hike to the top of Leith Hill takes you up numerous stairs and stretches through the forest, but the trek is worth it for the views up top. Bring a couple of pounds for tea at the top near the tower, and be sure to look out over the valley to see the Gatwick airport flyways above.

You would never tire of the walks here if you came everyday for 10 years. The seasons make the landscape change, as do the natural resources used to encourage the right plants to grow in this environment, don't be surprised to find cattle drinking from a stream; beautiful pine trees; heathers; deciduous woodland. There are plenty of places to stop... More

Best other than at the weekend. Various stages of energy and expertise defines the climb to the top. Most popular simpler route is a steady walk uphill to the tower. The tower is open often to climb up. Hot drinks and snacks available. Children love the area.
