The mill produces flour and animal feed. This was the last commercially working tide mill in the UK and it has now been restored to working order and still grinding away. check the web for opening times.

A really fascinating glimpse into a working tidal flour mill. If you time it right you may be lucky and see it in operation grinding the grain. The flour they sell is absolutely the best I've ever used for making bread!

Fascinating active mill. Volunteers helpful and knowledgeable. Summaries of the history and mill workings on the wall easy to read and understand. Good for all ages

A quick previous visit established that the mill would be in operation on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. The mill is fed by a pool that is filled at high tide and drives a large wheel when the sluice is opened. Enthusiastic guides were available...More

yes, there is parking a maybe 50 meters further along the river and also in the co-operative car park over the road.
