The diversity of this place is great. You can wonder around the grounds, visit the various shops and they even have Farmers markets there, together with entertainment. There is however one negative, parking. Going at a reasonable hour in the morning is a must as...More

Thank you for your response and we're delighted you found so much to enjoy here. Regarding your feedback on parking, it's unusual to be parked 'up the road' and I wonder whether you missed the directions to the considerable amount of parking available to the...More

I know the shop is going to redress this but I felt an absence of Sir Peter Pears. I love Britten’s music and did meet Sir Peter Pears when he did a singers masterclass at Cardiff University ( not a singer he used me for...More

Snape puts on incredible music and the concert hall is very beautiful & brilliantly done. However it must have the most uncomfortable seats of any large concert hall in the world - they do rather apologetically hand out cushions, which don't help much and by...More

Thanks so much for these kind comments. We are so glad you enjoyed the performances here. Yes, the seats are a little… austere (!). They are based on the seat designs at the Beyreuth opera house, but do need upgrading. Our challenge is how to...More

Snape Maltings is a lovely place to visit with vast array of craft shops, galleries, gift shops and restaurants / cafes. Parking on site can be a bit tight but there is a further car park further up the road.

Thank you for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit here. Attempts to resolve the car parking issues which can arise at busy times are ongoing. Some areas we usually use were water-logged over Easter! We look forward to welcoming you back.
