The staff at the bar were inexperienced and extremely slow. The price of the drinks was extortionate. A dash of lime was 50p and a glass of their cola £3.00. The food was very amateurish and served in the kitchen. Just burgers and a hot...More

I enjoyed the time here. It's an impressive town hall. Lovely tall ceilings and wooden floors. So many traditional features have managed to be retained.lucky enough to see the mayor. Good visit

Huge wooden sprung dance floor, used in Northern Soul movies to depict a bygone era, but all sorts of other concerts and promotions take place. A sense of history very evident although a fairly recent re-furbishment was very welcome !
