Called in today to Stoke Station to collect a set of train tickets from an automated ticket machine. A very pleasant and cheerful young lady helped explain the procedure to my wife and myself then checked if we were ok to continue with the system....More

I have travelled by train a few times and a railway station is not on my list of notable sightseeing venues. The platforms are cold and (I think) lie in the path of prevailing winds. There is a coffee shop of note offering reasonably priced...More

I really liked that station since it was the way to get out of stoke, also the architecture of the station is really decent you enjoy looking at it. Finally, there is a statue or a culture of a famous guy, it was good to...More

Train tickets were cheaper than car if you book them via trainline.com. Staff at the Stoke on Trent station were very helpful sorting out my tickets I ordered on line & to which platform I would require.

the station is easy to navigate especially for someone who hates train station like me. can become congested in peak times due to the small area on entry awaiting the ticketed barriers. lovely coffee from the shop to the left as you enter platform one.

Not been here for over 15 years - it's still probably the most shabby- doesn't look any different apart from a few vending machines

As a station it's fine and does the job, not much more to be said on that. BUT the parking is a total rip off. It used to be free for about the first hour which made dropping off or picking up people easy. Now...More

Hi, Like others I am not sure but buses do leave from outside the station to hubs at Longton and Newcastle where you would need to change. Prebook a taxi is cheaper than the black cab rank - good advice Enjoy.
