If you can find a better place to spend your time ANYWHERE on Cannock Chase then you are very unlucky. No matter what the weather is you can 'while away your time', on a walk of any length, or just sit and 'smell the roses', this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This was our first vist to Cannock Chase. The whole family came to take part in the Gruffalo Trail. My granddaughter had a great time solving clues and looking for various objects on the trail. The paths were well laid and access with a buggy was good. There is a place from which you can hire bikes and several bike... More

Loads to see and do all year round on the Chase. Many different areas to visit - would particularly recommend Birches Valley. Great organised events at Christmas and Easter.

Took my two children on what was mainly an enjoyable walk around Birches Valley. We set off to do the Gruffalo Trail only to be almost taken out by maniacs on mountain bikes heading toward their own trail - maybe they should take care knowing children are on foot on the Gruffalo Trail. Nice place to exercise your dog if... More

Cannock Chase is a great place for walking and cycling. Can be very busy at weekends. But if you want to see plenty of wildlife go early in the morning weekdays.

Took my 11 year old daughter on this Easter....Weather was excellent with full of sunshine and we had picnic followed by a relaxing walk along the trail....you can hire a bike and explore the park or can try your adventurous appetite at Go Ape activities....altogether it was a lovely day spent with just £4 for car park :-)....

Right on our doorstep can't praise it enough. We are so lucky to live within walking distance of this AONB from woodland to streams for kids to play in and a fab park and cafe. We are there every week from sledging in the winter to picnics in the summer fantastic 👍

We took our almost 2 year old to the gruffalo trail and we throughly enjoyed it. It was a good length for a toddler and no problem for our pushchair. This was our first visit to Cannock Chase and we will visit again. Coffee shop only small and very busy but to be expected over the Easter break. One problem... More
