Only a short walk away from the Cathedral but does not suffer in comparison because it has its own style of beauty. Worth a visit if only for the painted ceiling. It has its own history and is a good example of the peoples church...More

On our travels to any City, Town or Village we will visit the local Abbey, Cathedral, Church etc. St. Cuthbert's is a wonderfully cared for Church with a story behind it and plenty of history. Well worth visiting to this house of God.

I have visited the church for both it’s history and Sunday service. There is a lot of history to this church and you can self guide around it as there are story cards appropriately placed. Of particular interest was the American memorial left by USA...More

Probably always overshadowed by the Cathedral however a lovely church with a lot of history. Slightly out from the main part of the City.

Beautiful both inside and out, no charge for entry, able to take photographs. No parking at the church but there is a car park close by.

If you are in Wells take the time to also visit this very hisitoric church. It is within 1/2 a mile of the Cathedral and well worth the walk. The Almshouses are just outside the church border.
