We came here before visiting the Cathedral, and found it very beautiful with gorgeous stained glass windows and a light and airy feel to the building. Also interesting inside as well as out.

Really enjoyed visiting here. There was a service on so we didn't get a great look inside, but the exterior is fantastic. Of course, Hot Fuzz fans will recognize it instantly.

Some interesting details to explore after you've spent enough time in the cathedral. (It's a parish church building about as large as many US cathedrals.)

Obviously not as grand as the cathedral but if you are here for the history of Wells then if you can spare 15 minutes have a visit. It's spire is easy to see in the town & it's near a car park so shouldn't be to hard to find.

We were passing, on the way to the Cathedral, and saw a sign for coffee. You just cannot fault an excellent coffee and a biscuit for £1 - we certainly couldn't. We also had an opportunity to marvel at the beautiful painted ceiling in the Nave. So glad that we called in.

We went here because we are fans of hot fuzz and just had to really it would be rude not too. Lovely church lots of great architecture and very easy to get to as its right in the centre of town and didn't cost us a thing whereas the Cathedral is like £15!

It is certainly nice but not nearly as nice and majestic as it's larger and more famous cousin down the street. I'd skip this one and go for the Wells Cathedral. Better use of your time.

We visited Wells to see the Cathedral but found St Cuthbert's church first and were delighted when we stepped inside. It is absolutely beautiful, the stained glass Windows are incredibly beautiful and the whole ambience is wonderful. We were so glad we found this lovely place.

We heard the bells chiming on our way to the Cathedral so had to stop and listen to such a wonderful sound.
