On a clear sunny day - the view is stunning

Best to climb on a clear sunny day without any wind - perfect at the top and the panoramic view was lovely.

Glastonbury Tor is a geological feature in Somerset with the remains of a chapel at he peak. It offers breath taking views of the surrounding country side but it comes at a price. The walk up is steady and will test your legs but it is worth it.

Definitely a must see. Be prepared for the walk up; but views at the top are incredible. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This short (.5 mile from the nearest cat park to the summit) but steep hike was a great way to spend some time on a beautiful day. A paved trail with sturdy stairs make the walk easy, even for my 2 year old, who made it all the way up and back down without asking to be picked up.

Glastonbury tor is a lovely place to visit on a sunny clear day. You get to see a wonderful views up there of Wells and the surrounding area. It is well worth the climb just for the views but it's something that should be done if you're around that area. It's brilliant for adults kid's and dogs. You'll all get... More

If the weather is good, then this really has to be on the list of things to do in Glastonbury. It’s not a full on hike, but you do need a reasonable level of fitness as the way up and down is quite steep. But the views from the top are fantastic and are well worth the effort. It’s also... More

We visited the tor on the way home. It Was raining so we only stopped at the bottom of the track leading up to it. The views were great so can only imagine they are excellent from the top. It's a very interesting place. We will be going back on a nicer day.

The tor at Glastonbury was a great gateway to the cathedral area. We are pleased we made the effort to check it out. Good spot to stop for history lovers.
