The museum has been closed for refurbishment. There will be a tea room, disabled access, gallery and exhibition spaces and a wonderful glass fronted classroom space which can be hired.

The museum is undergoing a refit and won't be open until 2017 It did need a refurbishment as it was sadly tired. As my daughter said when 3 years old - "Was everything in the old days rusty!??"

A pretty setting for a lovely Museum, lots of local stories and items here. Old farm equipment, an old Forge, and many changing displays. well worth a visit.

Just be aware that the museum is currently closed for a major refurbishment. I'm sure it will be stunning when it reopens and I can't wait to visit such a wonderful building.

Lovely step back in time to get the flavour and atmosphere of the past era. Unfortunately this facility has been closed for approx a year due to austerity cuts. To be reviewed at the next financial revue next yerr.

Visited today, sign on gate says closed for renovation, reopen 2016, worth a walk, picked up the glastonbury millennium walk by accident, this is really informative stroll around this very spiritual town.

I have taken my 3 year old granddaughter to visit the museum several times. Staff are very friendly and helpful and she loves going for a visit here.
