We were visiting Minehead but as the weather turned wet we decided to visit Dunster Castle on spec. A good decision. We enjoyed the freedom to wander through the various rooms and view the displays. Helpful guides were stationed in all areas and provided useful...More

The views are outstanding, well worth a visit. The town itself is also beautiful and lovely for a wander. Please be aware the site itself is extremely hilly.

Since we live but a few miles away, we have wandered round the Castle gardens on several previous occasions simply to take exercise, but recently decided to 'do' the full tour inside the castle. The various bedrooms, dining hall, library etc. were as interesting as...More

I last visited this NT property over 20yesrs ago and will certainly visit again when it is a little quieter. There were too many pushchairs and very young children also visiting which made taking in the details of the castle a bit difficult. It was...More

Sorry I don't know, but the national trust website is pretty useful. They do have buggies to run people from the car park to the castle, but not sure about the facilities inside.
