We only went in to view the chandeliers, which are free to view if the rooms are not in use. They are majestic. I've never seem anything so sparkly in my life! Well worth a stop on a free tour, or if you are in...More

Housed inside the Bath Assembly Rooms, and definitely worth a visit. There was a tour just starting with a member of staff so we opted for that instead of the audio guide. The staff member giving the tour was certainly friendly and enthusiastic but it...More

I went with my daughter who is studying textiles at university, she found it well worth the visit. It gave her inspiration for her summer assignment.

The fashions were artfully displayed and the audio guide explanations were clear and very helpful. Very much worth the time to visit. I would have liked to have seen a few things that ordinary people wore day to day.

An interesting step back in time to see the beautiful clothing and fabrics worn as far back as the 17th century. I felt a little under dressed gazing at the fashions in my t- shirt and shorts! Also an exhibition of lace fashions as well.

On a recent trip with my mum we decided to go to the fashion museum on a whim really, neither of us are overly interested in fashion but both love history. We were pleasant surprised by the museum and thoroughly enjoyed it! The exhibitions flowed...More

Dragged along by my wife I really rather enjoyed this visit. I don't get fashion but this 100 costume display from 1600's to today is well presented, the free audio guides excellent and add more short, details to the well written display cards . Highlights...More

My daughter laughed until she cried at the 60's fashion when I explained how I wore hot pants and kneehigh plasic boots, complete with feather boa.
