This boat trip goes a couple of miles out of Bath and we were given a very interesting commentary by the organiser. A lovely way to see some of the city and very reasonably priced.

We took this hour-long cruise to Bathhampton one afternoon on the placid River Avon. Saw our first kingfisher along the river. The commentary from the captain/guide was interesting in terms of the history of the local area.

We have been on other boat trips that have been more interesting, however the highlight for me was seeing a kingfisher flying passed. We sat on the top deck near the rear of the boat and struggled to hear the brief commentary that was given....More
