Lovely to visit in spring.

Lovely grounds and canal river towpath can be accessed from the gardens which gives a pleasant walk back into the centre of bath.

Whilst in Bath our friends showed us this park and we thought it was beautiful, we sat on the grass in the sun and had a picnic was was nice. Although the only downside was the cafe which by the time we got there wasn't serving food and when I went to leave with my 4 month old baby in... More

We visited the Sydney Gardens after touring the Holburne Museum. The gardens were truly beautiful on a gorgeous spring day. Then we made our way to the path alongside the Kennet and Avon canal - this is a highly recommended walk and will take you back into the town center. In fact, the scenic canal-side walk was one of the... More

Not too big, not too small, just right for a walk around the grounds after visiting the Holburne Museum.

As we were staying at the Bath Spa hotel which is close to the Sydney Gardens we walked through a number of times over a weekend. The gardens are nicely planted and laid out and have interesting features. There are impressive buildings on the edges of the park and the railway and a river flow through it. Worth spending some... A peaceful park , with the added bonus of the canal embankment to follow back to Bath bus & railways stations. The canal side walk must be one of the jewels in the crown when visiting Bath . Highly recommmended .

In itself so many aspects. And to walk to it from it there are so many pleasant routes. Good for a picnic.

A fine green backdrop to the Holburne Museum. A Georgian pleasure ground once favoured by Jane Austen now a lovely park perfect for a gentle stroll with access to the Kennet and Avon canal.

A delightful surprise just behind the Holburne Museum, with lovely shady walks and bridges over the canal. Beautiful even on a rainy day, such as I had.

I walk through Sydney gardens a number of times during my long walks and it is the highlight of my walks as it is just very green, beautiful towering trees, landscaped gardens and the canal is the cherry on the cake.
