It was quite busy for a Friday daytime, but not too busy. If you fancy a relaxing dip in spacious warm baths, you will love this. We tried the ground floor and top floor baths plus the scented steam rooms. The baths we used had been tastefully modernised, gave a real sense of space and the view from the top... More

Well worth the entrance fee. We were there for 2 hours. Really interesting. Do take the audio guide included in the price.

Its well over twenty years since I last visited the Baths and to be honest on my previous visit I was less than impressed, the only reason I went this time was that we had our 8 year old granddaughter with us and as she is studying the Romans at the moment!!!! Well its obvious a lot of work has... More

Really enlightening experience wandering through the museum and learning about the Baths as they were before walking out to the Baths and being able to really imagine what it was like in Roman Britain. The audio guides are great and just long enough to learn new things without getting bored

We surprised ourselves by how much we enjoyed our visit here today! The history of the baths is amazing. The audio guide is brilliant and the perfect accompaniment to walk around with and learn all about what you are looking at. Tip: take a pair of standard jack headphones. There is a jack point on the bottom of the device... More

Me and my husband really enjoyed our trip around the Roman baths there is a lot to see and you get an individual speaker each so that you get all the information as you go round. It's is defiantly worth the admission price.

Loved the museum, spent a good hour wandering around listening to the audioguide (I mainly chose Bill Brysons narrative) and soaking up the atmosphere. Was a damp windy day which meant the steam rising from the baths was really visible so you got a sense of the heat. Cheekily I did stick my hands in which you are advised against,... More

A must see destination you have to be there just to feel the amazing atmosphere. Its hard to explain the atmosphere with the sandstone smell, the corrigated cobblestones the steam from the hot water the aging process etc. I was in ore, such an old historic place to be finally here and able to stand in the main courtyard bath... The Roman Baths are a great way to look into British history. The way the tour is set out is brilliant. It is very factual and you get to get up close with the baths. There is a lot to see, there are escorted tours also, you can join these at certain points around the building, and it will state... More
